Scholarship Opportunities
HBCU Glow provides an opportunity to help realize the dreams of deserving HBCU-bound students. We award multiple book scholarships to graduating seniors planning to enroll or currently enrolled in a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must compose an original essay based on the provided topic, complete the entire application form and meet other criteria. Eligibility Requirements

Must be a graduating senior enrolled in high school planning to attend an HBCU or at least a sophomore currently enrolled at an HBCU

Must include Name of school(s) you plan to attend, accepted too or currently enrolled (must prove proof- acceptance letter, current course schedule, etc)

Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (submit transcript)

Submit an essay on one of the 3 topics below (500 word min)

Prompt 1: Describe your passion for education and why you are interested in attending an HBCU.
Prompt 2: Explain how receiving this book scholarship will positively impact your academic journey and goals.
Prompt 3: Share any personal challenges or obstacles you have overcome and how they have shaped your determination to pursue higher education.
